How to join the MAGIC-Lab
We’re proud to host a dynamic mix of undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students working on exciting projects in our lab. Many students choose to complete their final year projects here, while others join us as research apprentices or work placement students, gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge research. We also welcome postdoctoral research fellows and magicians eager to dive deeper into the psychology of magic. Our lab offers a collaborative and innovative space where diverse minds come together to explore the fascinating intersection of magic, psychology, and human cognition.
Please contact us directly if you are interested in doing a PhD in the lab. You can also check out the School of Psychology post graduate page to find out more about current funding opportunities. The school of psychology offers PhD student ships as well as fully funded Teaching and Research Associate positions, or you may have identified your own funding body.
